Key Responsibilities

- Review and edit captions for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and consistency according to client or company standards.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and adjust to specific project requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of captioning standards, software tools, and accessibility guidelines to deliver compliant and high-quality output.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong proficiency in captioning software such as EZTitles, Subtitle Workshop, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional transcription accuracy with excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to effectively time-stamp captions to sync with audio and video.
- Excellent listening skills and clear typing proficiency (minimum 50 WPM preferred).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and captioning best practices is highly desirable.
